This Week in Mt Gretna

August 31st, 2011

Folks, this is the “last hurrah” – the last taste of Gretna’s summer of 2011.

Gretna Music has opera on Friday evening, one of THE up and coming jazz artists performing on Saturday, and classical on Sunday, with members of (what we feel are “our own”) Audubon Quartet.

Friday evening, John Brewer will enlighten us on how we can better care for one of Mt. Gretna’s most precious resources: our trees.

Our Facebook class, scheduled for Saturday morning, is being postponed because the instructor (that would be me) will be attending a funeral; should you be interested in attending, please call 964-1830 and leave your name and telephone number so we can include you when it is rescheduled.

The End of the Season Picnic will be held on Saturday afternoon (call and let us know you’re coming as soon as possible).

And the Timbers closes their summer revue with the Saturday evening performance.

As always, we welcome your programming suggestions for next year. If you forward them to me, I will make sure they go to the appropriate hosting organizations.
